Atziri Valadez Campos
About
Atziri Valadez Campos was born in Michoacan Mexico and grew up in South Omaha. She joined Carlson & Blakeman, LLP in August 2024 as a law clerk and has since transitioned to the role of associate attorney, where her primary focus is on immigration law working with Immigration partner Julia Cryne. Atziri is fluent in both English and Spanish. As a first-generation college graduate, Atziri graduated magna cum laude from the College of Saint Mary with a major in paralegal studies and a minor in history. She graduated from Creighton University School of Law in May 2024.
During her time at Creighton, Atziri received two CALI awards in International Business Contracting and Family Law Practice. She also earned her Basic Mediation Certificate and served as the president of the Latino Law Student Association. Additionally, Atziri gained valuable experience as a law clerk at the Milton R. Abrahams Clinic for two and a half years, where she worked on landlord-tenant, family, probate, and immigration cases assisting low-income Douglas County residents.
Atziri’s personal experiences in immigration law have deepened her understanding of the issues in this field and enhanced her ability to connect with clients on a personal level. In her free time, Atziri enjoys spending time with her family, trying new foods, and watching horror movies.
